W Hotels has announced plans to introduce a second Indonesian outpost in Bali. Joining the brand’s previously existing W Bali – Seminyak, the W Bali – Ubud will be developed in collaboration with Indonesia’s Ruang Teknik Group. Among the 100 guestrooms, 10 villas will feature private swimming pools as well as W’s signature EWOW suite.
The design will reinterpret traditional Balinese art styles with locally sourced artwork, while also paying homage to festival culture. Carved stone terracotta finishes will span the interior, enhanced by bamboo elements that will wrap both indoor and outdoor event spaces, including a sundrenched, 577-square-foot meeting room linked to outdoor lawn spaces. F&B options will include all-day concept Morinda, the partially underground Balinese restaurant Synn, and the panoramic cocktail venue Wanderbar.
