Inspired by a deep connection to the ocean, the second yoga concept from Warrior One has arrived in the beachy Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc. Spread across 2,800 square feet, the organic environment reflects a holistic approach to wellness and an exploration of texture.
Windsor, Australia-based design studio Golden drew influence from the coastline and sea in conceiving the project’s muted palette and raw materials. A textural sisal rug lines the ceilings to inject softness throughout the interior, which comprises two yoga studios, a large reception area, and changing rooms. Custom bifold doors, crafted from grass weave wallpaper and solid oak, partition each studio. Warm walnut built-ins and exposed beams anchor the soothing design, while pink marble and brass fixtures in the bathrooms make an unexpected splash.
Slated for completion later this year, an onsite café will further expand Warrior One’s wellness programming.
