The Four Seasons Resort Dubai has opened at Jumeirah Beach.
The 237 guestrooms and suites provide views of the sea or the city’s skyline, while offering details such as convivial L-shaped sofas, walk-in closets, and executive-sized desks, as well as silver-leafed bathroom ceilings and Murano glass fixtures. Each of the 11 Imperial suites additionally boasts a large living and dining space, two furnished terraces, and a second bedroom. Three suites on the resort’s uppermost fifth floor include the Presidential suite and Penthouse suite, each with its own media room, private gym, and wraparound terrace; and the Royal suite includes a spa, gym, show kitchen, and a grand salon with a piano.
The hotel was envisioned by Irvine, California-based architecture firm WATG and San Francisco-based interior designers BAMO, with several of the hotel’s restaurants completed by New York’s Tihany Design. Arabic design accents highlight Spanish-Mediterranean architecture, including a collection of Arabic art.
The property will soon house five independent venues in a standalone building on the resort grounds, including Market Kitchen, Nusret, and the Peruvian concept Coya.
The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and the new Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, set to open in early 2015, join Four Seasons Hotel Doha in Qatar and Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
