Palace Hotel Co. has unveiled the first property under its new hospitality brand, Zentis. Opening next month in Japan, the 16-story Zentis Osaka is being crafted by British designer Tara Bernerd of Tara Bernerd & Partners.
Maximizing its natural setting at the riverbanks of Dojimahama, the new construction will evoke a contemporary, laidback style with a raw palette including materials like exposed brickwork and timber beams. Wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, the lobby will feature a double-sided fireplace and a stone staircase. The main bar and dining area, operated by Café Co., will be housed above the lobby alongside an airy lounge and outdoor terrace.
All 212 guestrooms will include polished wood floors, muted tones, and mustard accents. Locally sourced custom artwork will further punctuate the intimate footprint of each accommodation.
