Dorchester Collection’s 45 Park Lane has opened its doors in London. The 45-key boutique hotel, designed by Thierry Despont, integrates art deco influences and features a penthouse suite with a wraparound terrace. Art also has a strong presence, with 16 of Damien Hirst’s limited-edition Psalms series displayed together in the restaurant, while original works by British artists adorn the guestrooms and suites. The opening marks the debut of Wolfang Puck in Europe with his CUT at 45 Park Lane restaurant. A central staircase from the lobby lounge leads to a mezzanine level that houses Bar 45, a library, and private media room.
