This spring, Thompson Hotels will launch a new terrace lounge, called Above 6, atop its 6 Columbus hotel. Originally conceived by interior designer Steven Sclaroff, the venue-which features a retractable roof to protect guests from the elements-offers a sharp, sophisticated design aesthetic. “We believe Above 6 adds a jewel-box element to Six Columbus that provides our guests with a touch of downtown New York City while enjoying midtown views of Central Park,” says Jason Pomeranc, co-owner of Thompson Hotels.
