Holland America Line has selected New York-based designer Adam D. Tihany and Oslo, Norway-based architect Bjorn Storbraaten to create the interior spaces of the line’s new Pinnacle Class of vessel. The 99,000-ton ship is slated for delivery in February 2016.
Tihany will join Storbraaten⎯⎯who worked with Holland America Line on MS Eurodam and MS Nieuw Amsterdam⎯⎯in designing the ship’s public rooms. Several new concepts never seen before on a Holland America Line ship are in development, and more details will be revealed as they evolve.
“We are fortunate to bring together such distinguished professionals for our next-generation ship,” says Richard Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales, and guest programs for Holland America Line.
