ADD Inc Miami will redesign the Gale South Beach hotel, originally designed by L. Murray Dixon in 1941. Jonathan Cardello, principal and director of the design firm, will oversee the project. He also worked on the revamp of the Gale’s sister property, Shelborne South Beach. Plans call for 89 guestrooms, three restaurants and lounges, an 8,000-square-foot rooftop terrace, and infinity pool with city and ocean views. The hotel’s renovation is scheduled for completion at the end of 2012.
