The Lanesborough London Hotel in Hyde Park will begin an extensive renovation project on December 20th.
Following an auction of existing furnishings, artifacts, and decorations, Paris-based designer Alberto Pinto will redesign the Lanesborough. The new designs will involve all guestrooms and public areas and will honor the building’s architectural heritage.

“This marks an unprecedented renovation project for the hotel which brings with it the opportunity to purchase a piece of the hotel’s history at auction as we pave the way for a new chapter for the Lanesborough,” says Geoffrey Gelardi, managing director of the Lanesborough.
The auction takes place at the Lanesborough at 10.30am December 9th through the 13th. Online bidding will also be available via a live webcast.
