Starwood has announced an Aloft hotel opening in Jacksonville, Florida, and another one planned for Panama City, Panama. The 137-key Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park, the brand’s second property in the city, will pursue LEED Gold certification. Meanwhile, Aloft Panama is slated to debut in December 2012. Both hotels will have signature features such as loft-like guestrooms with nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows; re:mix lounge; re:charge fitness center and splash indoor pool; and re:fuel, a grab-and-go café.
