Aloft Hotels will debut in downtown Tampa in 2014 with architecture and interior design by Orlando-based Baker Barrios Architects. Occupying the former Mercantile Bank office building, the hotel calls for 130 loft-like guestrooms, the signature w xyz sm bar located adjacent to the waterfront pool, a fitness center, and a 4,000-square-foot rooftop flexible meeting and outdoor terrace area.
