Marriott is celebrating 35 years in Europe with the restoration of its first hotel on the continent 35 years, ago, the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. The multimillion-dollar renovation includes a revitalized, vibrant lobby filled with adaptable space for working, dining, and relaxing, along with new bar and dining concepts: Midtown Grill, a New York style steakhouse; Sorel’s, a fashionable lounge featuring a glittering diamond bar and columns; and Midtown Cigar Club, a classic cigar lounge. The hotel’s 395 guestrooms also underwent refurbishment to include luxury bedding and the latest in-room technology.
