Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has unveiled Anantara Dubai the Palm Resort & Spa. This new resort joins the four existing Anantara properties in Abu Dhabi, while an additional two hotels will join the portfolio in the region by early 2014.
“We are very excited to open our first Anantara in Dubai, a key strategic location for the brand,” says Dillip Rajakarier, chief executive of Minor Hotel Group, Anantara’s owning company. “This is the fourth addition to Anantara’s portfolio so far this year, with a further three properties to be added before the end of the year⎯⎯including in two new countries, Cambodia and Mozambique.”
Positioned on the eastern crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, the 293 guestrooms, suites, and pool villas are characterized by Asian-inspired luxury and views of the lagoons or the Palm. In addition, the resort boasts the Middle East’s first overwater villas with glass viewing panels for underwater glimpses of the Arabian Sea.
