Hyatt Hotels has signed an agreement with Aedes Real Estate and designer Marcel Wanders for the 122-key Andaz Amsterdam, slated to open in 2012. The lifestyle hotel will be located on the site of the former Public Library on Amsterdam’s Prinsengracht. The hotel’s design concept and the stylish allure of the rooms will reflect a modern view on Dutch history, coming to life through Wanders’ vision. Andaz Amsterdam will feature the Andaz Studio; meeting facilities; an executive boardroom; a lounge, bar, and restaurant; and fitness and business centers.
