Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has announced the Sonesta Gwinnett Place. Scheduled to come under Sonesta management next month, the 426-room hotel is currently located in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth.
Currently known as the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place, the 17-story hotel is the largest in Gwinnett County and features 15 suites and three concierge floors. Function space includes 18 rooms with more than 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space, as well as the 8,000-square-foot Georgia Ballroomwhich accommodates up to 1,000 guests. In addition, the hotel offers a steakhouse, lounge and casual dining restaurant, swimming pool, health club, and sundeck.
The hotel is located near major entertainment venuesincluding the Gwinnett Arena, the Performing Arts Centre, and the AAA Gwinnett Braves Coolray Field.
