Located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, the $2.4 billion Revel mega-resort will open its doors for an eight-week preview before the official premier on May 25. During the preview, guests will experience seven of 14 restaurants created by acclaimed chefs Alain Allegretti, Marc Forgione, Jose Garces, and Robert Wiedmaier. Chef Michel Richard recently announced three dining concepts for the resort, all of which take inspiration from the ocean. Central Michel Richard occupies a light, airy space accented by natural woods, an open kitchen, Richard’s signature toppling plate sculpture, and sphere-shaped burgundy chandeliers. Anchored by a 25-seat circular bar, the energetic O Bistro & Wine Bar offers expansive windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Breakfast Room rounds out the chef’s three venues.
In addition, the recently announced Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub, which takes cues from the impresario’s Forty Deuce clubs in Las Vegas and Hollywood, features a club-in-the round experience featuring burlesque shows. “Flying catwalks drop from the sky and animate the entire space,” Kane explains.
The 1,800-room beachfront destination, which rises 47 stories, also includes:
- Revelry, featuring restaurants, shops, nightclubs, dayclubs, a performance space for 700, and casino
- The Mezz, which offers a theater with a capacity for 5,500 and 160,000 square feet of meeting space
- The Lobby, encompassing nearly two acres of outdoor space anchored by SkyGarden and InOut Pool, which, as its name indicates, begins indoors and continues outside
