Chef and restaurateur Michael Mina and Fontainebleau Miami Beach are set to open Michael Mina 74. Opening this fall in Fontainebleau’s main lobby, Michael Mina 74 will be the first concept created uniquely for the hotel by Mina.
Blurring the lines between a restaurant, bar, and ultra-lounge, Michael Mina 74 will be designed by New York-based AvroKO, and evoke a rich tone that blends elements of urban life with a beachside Mediterranean villa. Tables, deep leather couches, and chairs are designed specifically to evolve from a dinner setting to a late-evening scene. The atmosphere will be low lit with candles on tables and chandeliers overhead.
“I am delighted to debut Michael Mina 74 at Fontainebleau. It’s truly the perfect balance: delicious food, an upbeat sophisticated ambiance, the magic of Miami Beach, and this iconic hotel will deliver a fantastic dining experience for guests,” says Mina.
Michael Mina 74 is scheduled to open this November and will debut as the fourth pillar to signature restaurants Scarpetta, Gotham Steak, and Hakkasan.
