Real estate developer Ayelet Weinstein and brand marketing executive Christopher Tompkins have unveiled their plans for B Hotels & Resorts, a new boutique brand alternative for the conversion of existing flagged and independent hotels. “B is a fresh, innovative and unpretentious class of hotels in the upper-upscale category that welcome today’s travelers by igniting a genuine emotional connection to the brand,” Tompkins says. “In creating B, we have established a new genre in hospitality, one we like to call self-expression.”
The new brand’s flagship property, B Ocean Fort Lauderdale, is scheduled to debut in December with 240 guestrooms, 8,000 square feet of function space, and unique dining concepts. “After individuals experience our flagship hotel, I have no doubt that they will be inspired by this fresh new approach,” adds Tompkins. “B represents a service culture allowing individuals the ability to communicate their personal desires in our brand language, which is what will make this brand so uniquely different, compelling, desirable, and almost addictive.”
