B Hotels & Resorts has announced that three properties will join flagship B Ocean Fort Lauderdale next year. Opening in early 2013, b2 Miami Downtown will be the company’s first hotel under its b2 brand, a value full-service model. Situated on Biscayne Boulevard, the property calls for a signature restaurant, 243 guestrooms, and space for small meetings.
Also debuting early next year is B South Beach, transformed from the oceanfront Continental South Beach (originally designed by Morris Lapidus as Nautilus hotel). Guestrooms will showcase rich, dark wood furnishings accented by silver tones and ambient lighting, along with vintage black-and-white photographs reminiscent of 1950s Miami Beach.
B in the Walt Disney World Resort comes to Orlando in fall 2013 with two restaurants, a pool, 20,000 square feet of function space, a grand outdoor lawn, and child-friendly guestrooms outfitted with bunk beds and gaming consoles.
