Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco has revealed the results of its makeover, helmed by interior designer Michael Booth of BAMO. The hotel’s 158 guestrooms showcase timeless elegance reflected in custom-designed plush blue couches, large white ash burl wooden desks, and French Deco touches. Meanwhile, in the seven individually designed suites, a cool blue and silver color palette serves as a backdrop for lush textures. Spacious baths offer a spa-like atmosphere, thanks to rain showers and freestanding sculptural tubs.
The hotel will unveil additional spaces, including Brasserie S&P from executive chef Adam Mali, opening in May, as well as 5,000-plus square feet of function space coming online this summer.
