Benjamin Moore has released Advance, an alkyd-based interior paint powered by the brand’s Gennex waterborne colorant system. The mineral-based, low-VOC coating enables the water dispersion of the company’s tints and performs like an oil-based paint but has other characteristics common to latex. Available tints run in the 3,300 range; custom color matching also is available. In addition, a flat sheen and primer will soon join the current satin and high-gloss options.
