Best Western has debuted the Best Western Premier Petion-Ville in Port au Prince Haiti. The $15 million, seven-story hotel marks the first Best Western in the Caribbean.
Designed by Dallas-based firm Studio 11 Design, the 106-room hotel features three executive and imperial suites with a Zen atmosphere. In conjunction with well-known Haitian architects, Studio 11 Design installed art, photography, design works, and fabrics from Haitian artisans and students throughout the hotel. The artwork displays honor the late wife of one of the owners⎯⎯who perished in the earthquake⎯⎯and can be purchased, with proceeds benefiting a local foundation for the rebuilding of Haiti.
Best Western Premier Haiti also provides 2,000 square feet of meeting space⎯⎯including the Louverture boardroom and the Grand ballroom⎯⎯accommodating six to 160 guests. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, and spa.
