The Beverly Hills Hotel has introduced the first of its refurbished guestrooms and suites, designed by Adam D. Tihany as part of an overall restoration to the landmark property. Slated for full completion by year’s end, the 135 guestrooms and suites will be a study in opulence, thanks to soft leathers, luxurious mohair and silks, ebonized walnut and cerused oak furnishings, bespoke wallcoverings and light fixtures, and lounge seating. The color palette comprises light cream and taupe shades with silvery-blue, green, and yellow accents.

Accommodations also will feature significant technical upgrades, including integrated media panels and specialty lighting systems with individual dimming and “scene setting” capabilities, wall-mounted TVs from Bang and Olufsen, charging packs with USB connectors located in each desk, and bathroom mirrors with built-in TVs.
