With a focus on California product, producers, and farmers, chef/restaurateur Michael Mina will unveil his newest concept, Bourbon Steak, at San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis on Union Square on October 7. In his design of the 102-seat restaurant and bar/lounge, Michael Dalton combines a strong color palette with clean, tailored forms to balance the ornate architecture of the room. Rich, deep hues of cognac, bronze, steel blue, and nickel visually contrast the space’s opulent and masculine elements.
