INK Entertainment and ICON Legacy Hospitality have opened Byblos, a modern Mediterranean-style restaurant.
Reflecting Mediterranean culture and color, the 2,000-square-foot casual yet sophisticated dining space blends contemporary and historical styles. The design-forward space includes a dining room, bar, and lounge-all created by the collaboration of INK Entertainment, ICON Legacy, and Toronto’s Commute Design.
“We take great inspiration from the different culinary regions we explore,” says Icon Legacy Hospitality CEO Hanif Harji, “immersing ourselves entirely and sourcing the finest and most humble ingredients that truly represent the cuisine.”
For an authentic look, the restaurant’s creative team traveled the eastern Mediterranean coast to source flavors and spices, argan and olive oils, traditional dinner and tea wares, and a crop of local and regional Mediterranean beers, wines, and spirits.
