Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is now accepting entries for its 10th annual HD Awards. Honoring the industry’s best projects and the creative teams behind them, the awards program now includes 20 categories, such as Hotel-upscale, midscale/economy, and the newly added boutique/lifestyle distinction, Spa, Sustainable Project, Student Project, and Restaurant (both upscale and casual/quickservice). Entries are due March 5th.


Four Seasons Guangzhou
The winning projects, selected by an esteemed jury of industry professionals, will be featured in the June issue of HD, and feted at a ceremony on June 4th at the Grand Hyatt New York.
Last year, more than 400 entries were received, and winners-including the HBA-designed Four Seasons Guangzhou, which nabbed Best of Show-were selected by jury members Andrew Cohen, principal, Parts and Labor Design; Tag Galyean, founder, TAG Studio; Susan Jaques, designer, Highgate Hotels; Margaret McMahon, VP/managing director, Wimberly Interiors (a design studio of WATG); and Tara Oxley, design director, B.R. Guest Hospitality.
