The 14th annual Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference (CHTIC 2010) is set for May 4-6 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. Keynote speakers include Puerto Rico governor Luis Fortuño and Robert Crandall, former AMR Corporation chairman and CEO. High-ranking representatives from the World Tourism Organization, Starwood, and Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts are also slated to present at the conference.
CHTIC is the official tourism investment conference of the Caribbean and is staged by two nonprofit organizations of the region: the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). The program is targeted to hoteliers, tourism officials, developers, bankers, lenders, government investment agencies, and other professionals.
