Carlson has announced its plans to have more than 100 hotels in India by 2015. By year’s end, the company will have opened eight hotels, with another 15 scheduled to debut in 2011. Carlson also signed two new agreements in west and south India:
Radisson Blu Hotel Mumbai Malad (pictured): Expected to open in 2014, the 275-room property will feature an all-day-dining restaurant, two specialty food outlets, a tea lounge, and a sprawling 10,000 square feet banquet and meeting facility.
Park Plaza Coimbatore: The 110-key property’s features include a restaurant, coffee shop, rooftop restaurant and bar, two banquet halls, and two ballrooms.
