Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group plans to open the Radisson Blu Hotel, Rouen in France. Scheduled to open in Q3 2015, the 91-room property brings Carlson Rezidor’s French portfolio to 23 hotels in operation and under development.
“We are delighted to extend our presence to Rouen and to further strengthen the position of Radisson Blu as the largest upper upscale brand in France,” says Wolfgang M. Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor.
The site of the hotel is centrally located in the heart of Rouen and is adjacent to the medieval Tour Jeanne d’Arc. A 1496-square-foot all-day dining restaurant, a bar area, and 3,196 square feet of meeting and events facilities will also be offered. Architecture and design of the hotel will combine historic construction with new build.
Carlson Rezidor has developed a network of Radisson Blu hotels in key destinations across the country⎯⎯including Paris, Nantes, Toulouse, Biarritz, Nantes, Cannes, and Marseille, as well as a resort on the French island of Corsica.
