Centiva, the flooring manufacturer, has promoted Doug Young to vice president of sales. Having partnered with Tandus Flooring, Centiva has appointed Young to lead the Centiva sale’s team. 

In 2008 Young joined Centiva as Midwest regional sales manager and later took responsibility for the northern U.S. as well. Young has worked in the flooring industry for more than 18 years and will work to grow Centiva’s business as the company joins with Tandus.
Tarkett plans to create a design-driven product portfolio with the joining of these two brands and also expects to create more sustainable options and increase its customer service. In leading the Tandus brand, Young will report to Glen Hussman, president of Tandus, who will begin his role in April.
“Doug has been a tremendous player in the Centiva organization over the last four years,” says Thomas Trissl, president of Centiva. “He has gained the respect and support of his colleagues and I am confident that he will lead this team in continued success for the future.”
