Viceroy Hotel Group’s Chamberlain West Hollywood has completed a redesign of its guestrooms, suites, bathrooms, fitness center, and rooftop outdoor pool deck. Inspired by the likes of Milan and New York City, the new design is a modern-day interpretation of 1970s and ’80s contemporary glamour.
The décor incorporates a palette of periwinkle and cream, richly accented with gold, dark chocolate, and bronze. Cream and espresso gridlined carpeting anchors rich stone veneer, brassy metal, and chrome detailing, along with graphic patterns such as grids, checkerboards, and chevrons. The boutique hotel’s 114 guestrooms (some of which have vaulted ceilings) boast a loft-like aesthetic, highlighted by an Asian-style screen to separate living space from bedrooms. Bathrooms integrate three types of marble, curbless showers, frameless glass shower doors, and custom-designed chrome frame vanities with marble tops. In addition, the hotel’s redesign sets the stage for new restaurant Bistro.
