Choice Hotels International has promoted three executives: Mike Shemer as vice president, business planning; John Bonds as senior vice president, strategy and services; and Jay Sigona to vice president, brand operations for all Choice Economy, Midscale and Extended Stay Brands.
As vice president, business planning, Shemer will manage and implement enterprise complex change initiatives along with his responsibilities for business transformation, IT product ownership, planning, and governance, as well as project management. He will also collaborate with senior management to identify and redesign operations for Choice Hotels.
John Bonds, previously serving as vice president of corporate strategy and business transformation, will now be responsible for franchise services and the business planning team in his new role. As senior vice president, strategy and services, Bonds will work to improve business operations while providing leadership for the franchise services organization.
Having previously served as senior director, brand programs, Jay Signona’s promotion to vice president, brand operations includes the responsibility of creating and implementing brand programs, standards, and compliance functions
