Club Med has announced plans for its second all-inclusive resort in China with a location opening in Guilin, Guanxi Province, in August 2012. Catering to families, the property will open with 162 rooms split by a main building housing 116 rooms and a “chateau” with 46 rooms, most of them suites. A design plan to expand the resort to more than 300 guestrooms is on track for summer 2013. Amenities will include two pools, a fitness room, spa, conference center, and kids’ club.
