Comfort Inn by Choice Hotels joined forces with professional football players, along with 300 volunteers, for Rebuilding Together’s Kickoff to Rebuild to rehabilitate homes for those in need. The group tackled major repairs to seven homes in Miami’s Coconut Grove community with projects like updating kitchens, adding bedrooms, and providing disability access.
Kickoff to Rebuild is part of Choice Hotels’ multi-year campaign with Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit that revitalizes communities and preserves affordable homeownership. Last year, Choice Hotels made a multi-year commitment of $1.5 million to Rebuilding Together. Since last fall, the company has completed 21 rehabilitation projects across the country, with more than 700 volunteers contributing in excess of 5,000 hours toward the effort.
