Concord Associates and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority have partnered to build a $600 million casino resort on the site of the former Concord Hotel in the Catskills. The project, operating under the Mohegan Sun brand, will be completed in phases and is master planned by Marnell Architecture. Phase one includes a 75,000-square-foot casino, a 258-room resort hotel, a harness racing facility, a simulcast facility for pari-mutuel wagering, 10,000 square feet of meeting rooms and ballrooms, five restaurants, retail outlets, and several entertainment spaces.
