The Cooper Inn in Cooperstown, New York, has unveiled the results of public space upgrades. Built in 1816, the 15-room Federal style manor blends the classic with the contemporary. “The newly designed interior of the Cooper Inn is both classic and modern, to tie the rooms to the Inn’s historic past while simultaneously looking forward,” says Jeff Lincoln of Jeff Lincoln Interiors, Inc., which led the redesign. “This was achieved through the use of custom-designed, over-scaled floral and damask prints, which are both traditional and contemporary.” Geometric carpeting makes a bold design statement, while the hotel’s furniture collections have been refurbished.
Jeff Lincoln Interiors also will renovate guestrooms, scheduled for completion in the winter.
