Country Inn and Suites by CarlsonSM has launched a new brand identity and hotel prototype. Designed by New York-based designer Genevieve Gorder, the redesign marks a first for the brand with new architecture, interior aesthetic, and visual identity, which will debut in the fourth quarter of this year.
Featuring a clean, contemporary look, the design will complement a new warm and comfortable visual identity, allowing the brand to expand in more areas and locations, including more urban markets. “We are looking to the future and are making thoughtful changes that will allow us to grow our brand,” says Gordon McKinnon, executive vice president and chief branding officer for Carlson. “It’s a natural next step to evolve into a product that appeals to a younger generation. But we will be fiercely maintaining our service culture and amenities that have built our strong, loyal customer base.”
