Avenue Hotel Chicago is now Avenue Crowne Plaza Chicago following a conversion to the IHG brand. The property, which wrapped up a multimillion-dollar renovation in the summer of 2008, offers 18,000 square feet of meeting space, business center, rooftop pool, fitness facility, and in-room spa services. The hotel’s 350 guestrooms are outfitted with flatscreen TVs, rain showerheads, granite countertops, and expansive views of Lake Michigan and the downtown skyline. F&B venues include the 40th-floor Sky Lounge and the casual Elephant & Castle, an English pub-style restaurant.
