Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts will open 10 more hotels in greater China this year, bringing the upscale brand’s portfolio in the country to 63. Another 50 properties are in the development pipeline. Key openings include the Dai Palace-inspired Crowne Plaza Xishuangbanna, featuring 520 guestrooms, a 16,000-square-foot ballroom, 12 meeting rooms, and a VIP welcome hall. Meanwhile, the 259-key Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East debuts this month with nearly 26,000 square feet of meeting space, including an expansive grand ballroom boasting a 22-foot-tall ceiling.
