The Cubita Boutique Resort & Spa has announced an October 12th opening on the Azuero Peninsula in Panama.
The resort includes a 100-room luxury hotel, convention center, restaurant, pool, sauna, gym, and spa. Two of the more unique features of the hotel are the colonial chapel in the courtyard and a museum showcasing the culture, folklore, and history in Azuero.
Taking its name and logo from the area’s pre-Columbian inhabitants, the hotel forms part of Grupo Cubita⎯⎯a 100 percent Panamanian investment group spanning tourism, real estate, education, and energy industries. Other developments currently underway include a pilot plan for a hotel school⎯⎯which will offer university-level certification to hotel professionals and personnel⎯⎯with practical components to be hosted in the facilities of the Cubita Hotel.
