Award-winning designer D.B. Kim has joined Pierre-Yves Rochon, Inc. (PYR). His work spans hospitality development and design, architecture, interiors, product design, and associations with leaders in these industries. Kim’s most recent hospitality experience was with Starwood. Under his design leadership, W, Westin, Starwood Vacation Ownership for Westin, and Sheraton hotels revitalized their brand direction and positioning by establishing new design standards that were rolled out internationally.
The design firm has also promoted two employees to associate principals. Daniel Juge will continue to serve as design director in his new role; he most recently made significant design contributions to the Four Seasons George V Paris in Paris; the Four Seasons des Bergues in Geneva, Switzerland; and the Savoy Hotel in London. Meanwhile, Stephane Renaud will also continue to serve as a design director. His major projects have included Hotel Casino Barrière de Lille in France; the Baur au Lac Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland; the Luxury Collection by Starwood and Residences, Blue Qiantang River Project in Hangzhou, China; and L’Atelier Joël Robuchon in Singapore and Paris.
