Days Inn has launched its first prototype in the brand’s 42-year history. Designed to give franchisees consistent and modern guidelines for construction, the prototype comes in four-story and seven-story versions, both of which allow for a fitness room and a lounge area adorned with contemporary furniture and a flatscreen TV. Meanwhile, guestrooms showcase the brand’s signature blue and yellow hues in bedding, carpeting, and an accent wall.

“With our new Days Inn prototype, we wanted to provide a concept that was refreshing to both our franchisees and our consumers,” says Clyde Guinn, president of Days Inns Worldwide. “In order to give our guests a revitalized hotel experience, we needed to give our franchisees a floor plan that was cost efficient and brand consistent. This design delivers on both.”
