Delta is switching up dining experiences for travelers at LaGuardia Airport. Airport restaurateur OTG Management will own and operate the 13 new F&B concepts, designed by ICRAVE. OTG has tapped New York City chefs Riad Nasr, Lee Hanson, Michael Lomonaco, Dominick DeMarco, Jamison Blankenship, Jim Lahey, and Jason Denton, as well as restaurateurs Chris Cannon and Garrett Oliver, to create dining experiences that are exclusive to Delta’s main terminal at LaGuardia.
The redesign will launch in phases, starting August 21, with full redevelopment of the space expected to be complete by summer 2011. Here are the F&B concepts in the works:
- Bisoux, a bistro inspired by Provencal cuisine
- World Bean, offering unique seasonal blends from select micro-roasters that feature only fair trade beans grown in season
- Prime Tavern steakhouse
- Crust, featuring thin-crust, Neapolitan-style pizzas with artisanal toppings
- Wibar, a wine bar offering 101 premium wines from the glass and a carefully selected beer list
- Minnow, a seafood and raw bar
- Bar Brace, serving Italian road food at its best
- Tagliare, featuring classic New York-style pizza
- Pat LaFrieda Burger
- Shiso, an Asian noodle and sandwich shop
- Harry’s Deli, a New York-style Jewish deli
- Cibo Express Gourmet Markets, offering over 1,000 pre-packaged products and beverages
- Imbibe, where travelers can select from infused cocktails to wines and beers
In addition, the Cibo Express Gourmet Food Hall will enable travelers to mix and match menu items from four quick-serve eateries, self-serve hot and cold food bars, a soup station, sundae station, bakery, and gourmet market.
