Thunder Bay, Ontario, is preparing to receive its first 4-Star hotel. The Delta Thunder Bay Hotel and Conference Centre will be part of a waterfront development comprising condo, retail, and restaurants. The majority of the 150 high-tech guestrooms and suites offer unobstructed views of Lake Superior and Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
Amenities will include 9,000 square feet of function space, including a 5,300-square-foot ballroom boasting garden and waterfront vistas; a restaurant and lounge with a terrace overlooking the Great Lake; indoor pool; and fitness center.
