Solis Hotels from Capella Hotel Group has selected global firm Denton Corker Marshall to design the Solis Ubud Resort & Spa in Bali, Indonesia.
The 108-key property, set amidst rice paddy fields along the Wos River, will draw inspiration from centuries of colorful Balinese processions and celebrations.
“Solis Ubud has been designed to blend in seamlessly with the area’s beautiful natural surroundings,” says Horst Schulze, Capella’s chairman and CEO. “The focus of this property, like other Solis hotels, is to be engrained deeply in the Balinese way of life.”
Guestrooms and luxury villas will showcase panoramic views and scenic riverfront experiences. Guests also will have access to two restaurants and a holistic “royal bath” spa.
The hotel is slated to open in 2017.
