Desires Hotels has expanded into Honduras with Blue Ocean Reef Resort on the island of Roatan. Offering oceanfront and white sand beach views, the hotel’s 17 luxury villas feature a living room area, dining room, kitchen, and terraces. The resort also has an infinity pool, beach club, in-room spa services, and multiple dining options. Also part of the property, which opens at the end of the year, is the Roatan Zoo and Island Adventure, an 11-acre sanctuary devoted to the rescue and care of injured or orphaned animals.
