Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has reopened following a refurbishment. The re-imagined space incorporates the hotel’s turn-of-the-century elegance with modern touches, along with Disney whimsy. Welcoming guests is the new Victorian style entryway, which leads to the lobby, where an original mural reflecting old Florida landscape and nature is on full display. Glass mosaic tiles in the Jacuzzi rooms contribute to the redesigned spa’s elegance, while color variations in lighting and orchestral music harmonize with the treatment selected.
Beginning January 16, all spas, salons, and fitness centers will be owned and operated by Disney. On that same day, the spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will temporarily close for renovation and reopen in the summer.
