Doubletree Boston/Waltham to Become Embassy Suites

HEI Hotels & Resorts is investing $14 million to renovate and reposition the Doubletree Boston/Waltham as an Embassy Suites. The owner/operator will renovate the 275 guestrooms as suites that feature high-definition TVs, new bathrooms adorned in granite, and wetbars with granite countertops. HEI will also redesign the existing Grille at Hobbs Brook and Atrium Lounge, as well as enhance the hotel’s 8,000 square feet of meeting space. The property’s entrance is also going through a renovation that will see the replacement of the revolving door, check-in desk, and business center.
