The 125-room DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa has opened as the brand’s first hotel in Quebec. The chateau-style property, formerly the Château Cartier, received a $3 million upgrade to guestrooms and public spaces.
Brazilian-inspired décor creates an exotic ambiance at Ekko de Brasil restaurant, while Le Bistronöme Restaurant & Bar offers a more casual atmosphere. The hotel’s 21,000 square feet of meeting space includes an expansive grand ballroom and an outdoor gazebo overlooking the property’s lush grounds. Other amenities include a full-service spa, an indoor saltwater pool, fitness facilities and a business center.

In addition, Hilton Worldwide recently signed a deal for the first DoubleTree by Hilton in Chile. The Santiago hotel will offer 230 guestrooms, a restaurant, and café, bar/lounge, and meeting space.
