Doubletree by Hilton Worldwide has signed three franchise agreements in three UK. cities. Along with 11 hotel openings in the UK in the past two years, the brand has now added sites in Bristol, Edinburgh, and Nottingham.

DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre will mark a franchise agreement with West Register Hotels. Following renovations of the former Point Hotel, the 139-Doubletree will feature a brasserie-style restaurant, bar, and top floor penthouse overlooking Edinburgh Castle. 

Expected to open this spring, the 201-room DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre was signed under a franchise agreement with Focus Hotels Management. The hotel will feature the Arts bar and Kiln restaurant, housed in an 18th-century glass kiln-style building.
DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway-positioned to appeal to both business and leisure guests-will open following an upgrade of the former Nottingham Gateway Hotel. The renovations will cover 106 guestrooms, meeting rooms, public areas, and leisure facilities-including the addition of a swimming pool. Signed with Exceptional Hotels and Resorts, Ltd, the hotel is expected to relaunch in late 2013.
